In Portuguese times, dining on prawns at Marisol was a must around Lourenço Marques. We are proud to continue this long-standing tradition: today, the Restaurante Marisol specializes in Indian Ocean cuisine with an emphasis on the freshest seafood.

For Sunday brunch, our chef will also tempt you with the best traditional Mozambican dishes combined with the international cuisine.

The bar was designed and decorated by an inspired young African artist, who chose to design a surreal landscape. Sample the famous 'Catembe' punch that originated here and check out the regular live music performances!

For a very romantic/special dinner, we offer a private butler/chef service on the platform of our jetty.  The chef will make your selection of the finest seafood dishes, lobster, crabs and prawns on an unique setting, as you are surrounded with the sea for 360° and stunning views of the Maputo skyline.  We only have 1 table available and it is weather permitable.
